AfA supports major letter to UN to urge them to include wildlife in their tourism recovery plan in the wake of covid crisis.

As the UN evaluates how it will help the tourism sector recover in the wake of Covid-19, we note that new recommendations for tourism do not mention wildlife exploitation. We won’t let animals be forgotten.
AfA have supported an open letter spearheaded by our member organisation World Animal Protection to the UNWTO endorsed by over 200 organisations, urging them to call for all captive wildlife entertainment to be completely phased out of the global tourism industry.
