A united voice for Asia's animals
The Asia for Animals Coalition, or AfA, is a network of hundreds of animal protection organizations working together to improve the wellbeing of animals across Asia and beyond, and to end animal exploitation and suffering.
Who we are
The AfA's Coalition's 26 Core Members are well-known and respected animal protection organizations with a shared vision and goal of improving the welfare of animals in Asia.
AfA's Core Membership is supported by a network of hundreds of other animal advocacy organizations.
The AfA Coalition Network is the largest of its kind in the world!
The AfA Coalition unites its members' voices in appeals to governments and other relevant bodies or facilities opposing animal cruelty across Asia. In addition, AfA facilitates issue-specific working groups and events, capitalizing on the expertise of its network to mitigate or resolve issues faced by Asia's animals.
The biennial AfA Conference is the largest regular gathering of animal welfare organizations in Asia. Its purpose is to share information, highlight best practices and build strategies to improve the lives for the animals of Asia.

OUR VISION
A world in which animal sentience is respected, and all animals live a good life, with their well-being protected. A stronger animal welfare movement across the whole of Asia, accessible to all animal protection organizations large and small, local, national and international.

To form a strong network of animal protection organizations working in Asia or on Asian animal protection issues. To improve the well-being of all animals and support network Members and associates in ending animal exploitation and suffering. To bridge the gaps, encourage collaboration between groups and regions, and form a centralized point for information exchange.

OUR PURPOSE
The Coalition is organized exclusively as a network of organizations working specifically for the protection of animals in and originating in Asia through developmental work, campaigns, advocacy, and practical assistance in order to improve the status and welfare of animals.
OUR AIMS

To raise awareness on the issues that impact the welfare of animals across Asia;

To provide advocacy support for campaigns within the region aimed at improving animal welfare and/or ending the exploitation and suffering of animals;

To facilitate discussions between organizations and allow the cross-sharing of information to find solutions to animal welfare issues;

To maintain the network and act as a central point for animal welfare organizations offering guidance and resources to help alleviate animal suffering;

To build capacity of networks and organizations on issues related to animal advocacy with international organizations such as OIE, WHO, WFA.
